Lilco Studio is run by Lily Smith-Kirkley in Dallas.

Lily is a multi-faceted design thinker, creative leader, and visual communicator. She’s both a maximalist and a minimalist, a perfectionist and an embracer of the flawed. She’s detail-oriented while seeing the big picture. She can get lost in a project and still over-deliver. She’s a generalist with several areas of expertise. This push and pull is what makes Lily great at what she does.

Lilco Studio is a sprightly team of collaborators that grows to fit any engagement. Individually, they are experts in such things as brand strategy, writing, photography, and web development. Together, they walk and talk like a full-service agency.

Lily is also Co-Director of ICON The Illustration Conference, the only gathering dedicated entirely to illustration and the people who live and breathe it. Working with two other permanent directors and an all-volunteer board, Lily and the ICON staff plan, coordinate, and execute a biennial conference focused on the most important ideas and issues in illustration today.
