In partnership with Oil & Cotton we now offer letterpress workshops onsite at Lilco Studio.

Registration and payment are handled through Oil & Cotton. Location and specific class information are shared after registration and before the scheduled class date.

    Intro to Letterpress: Thank You Cards
    10am–3pm

    Print thank you cards while learning the fundamentals of letterpress printing.

    In this workshop you’ll:

    • Print from photopolymer plates

    • Mix and use oil-based inks

    • Operate a letterpress and pull your own prints

    • Leave with 20-30 finished thank you cards and envelopes

    Intro Letterpress: Ornamental Monogram Cards
    10am–3pm

    Print your own set of custom ornamental vintage initial notecards while learning the fundamentals of letterpress printing on a proof press.

    In this workshop, you’ll:
    • Print from custom photopolymer plates (yours to keep)
    • Mix and use oil-based inks
    • Operate a letterpress and pull your own prints
    • Leave with 20–30 finished notecards and envelopes

    Two weeks before class, you’ll choose your lettering style—we’ll create your custom plates in advance so they’re ready when you arrive. All materials are included.
